Guggi studied tango in Europe and Argentina inspired by dancers as Chicho Frumboli, Maryline Lefort y Vincent Morelle, Gustavo Naveira, Moira Castellano a.o. and contemporary dance and ballet at the "Hoogeschool voor de kunsten Arnhem" in The Netherlands. Her work also includes contact improvisation, choreography and pilates. Based in Berlin, she teaches in different tango schools and performs in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and The Netherlands. She is currently performing "Mordisco Tango" with Sven Elze and David Engler and is dancing with Ismael Ludman in the feature film "Dance with me".

Sven drawing and sculpture at the UDK, Berlin and started to learn tango. He has a background in gymnastics, chi gung, tai chi chuan, aikido and the russian martial art systema. Knowledge of these arts provides his background to apply and teach the body mechanics and energy flow needed in tango. He is now touring with his band ‘Bassa', playing concerts and milongas all over Germany, teaches at the Malajunta in Berlin, and is a member of ‘Mordisco Tango'.

Guggi and Sven became fascinated with each others creativity and freedom of movement. Their energy results in an explosive, dangerous and daring interplay, requiring a more direct and theatrical interaction between the dancing couple and the music. Together with David Engler (violin and electronics) they created Mordisco Tango, an experimental tango trio. In their performance and in their teaching they focus on clear, beautiful and expressive movements based on the individual dancers' freedom to stand, turn and move inside the embrace.
